Embark on a breathtaking 7-day hiking tour through Korea’s most scenic trails. From the peaks of Seoraksan to the serene beauty of Yongneup Swamp, each day promises new adventures and unforgettable memories.


Itinerary:

Day 1: ARRIVAL MEET-UP; WONJU SOGEUMSAN; SOKCHO
The tour will begin from the Incheon Airport. Start your adventure with a leisurely walk in Sogeumsan, renowned for its scenic paths. The site features 2 suspension bridges and a skywalk observatory rising above the tree line and the Seomgang River.
Later, dive into the local culture at Sokcho Market.
Meals: lunch & dinner; Overnight in Sokcho City

Day 2: HIKE #1 โ–ฒ MT JEOMBONGSAN, GOMBAERYEONG PASS ์ ๋ด‰์‚ฐ โ–ฒ1,164m
The 14 km trail (round trip) leading to the “PASS” at the summit is relatively gentle except for a few challenging slopes that will pump your heart for a while. But what awaits you at the summit is a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountain peak and the protected Gombaeryeong Pass where many endangered plant species are well protected from human intrusion.

Gombaeryeong Pass on the summit of Mt. Jeombongsan is nicknamed the “Heaven’s Garden” because of its divest plant species & wildflowers.


Day 3: HIKE #2 โ–ฒ SEORAKSAN’S MAJESTIC ULSANBAWI ROCK โ–ฒ873m
Prepare yourself for the most demanding hike of the program: the Ulsanbawi Rock Course in Seoraksan National Park. This impressive 6-peak rock formation rises to 873 meters. Approximately 3 km from the trailhead, the trail features a steep elevation gain of about 500 meters. While itโ€™s a short course, the ascent is intense. Typically, this hike takes a little over 3 hours to complete, but don’t worryโ€”we wonโ€™t rush you. You’ll have ample time to catch your breath and take in the breathtaking panoramic views from the summit. After conquering Ulsanbawi, enjoy a well-deserved lunch in the park, followed by a scenic trip to Gwongeumseong Fortress via cable car.

Day 4: HIKE #3 โ–ฒTHE HIGH MOOR, YONGNEUP SWAMP VALLEY OF THE MT DAEAM โ–ฒ1,304m
Delve into the unique ecosystem of Yongneup Swamp Valley on Mt. Daeam, a 5-hour hike that showcases Korea’s only high-moor wetland and its diverse flora and fauna.

Day 5: HIKE #4 โ–ฒ DISCOVERING MT YUMYEONGSAN (์œ ๋ช…์‚ฐ) โ–ฒ862m
Hike Yumyeongsan for 3ยฝ hours, followed by an excursion to the bustling Gwangjang Market, where traditional Korean street food awaits.

YUMYEONGSAN TRAIL
The trail that starts from Yangpyeong leads to an expansive and open grassland. The hiking trails are also connected to Mt. Daebusan and Mt Sogunisan. On the summit, there is a pile of stones, and the view from the top is splendid.

Day 6: CULTURAL IMMERSION IN SEOUL & SUNSET WATCH HIKE
Spend the day learning about Ginseng and enjoying a Temple Food Cooking Experience before embarking on an easy 2-hour sunset hike at Mt. Yongmasan.

Day 7: Relaxation and Farewell

What is the cost per person?

LAND cost only based on twin or triple sharing basis:
Group size discount: SANL works on a cost-sharing basis, meaning the bigger the group size the bigger saving you will enjoy.

  • Group size 15 – 24: $ 1,600 per person *twin or triple basis
  • Group size 25 or more $1,400 per person *twin or triple basis
  • Single supplement add S$ 395

Minimum group size of 15 participants for event confirmation/departure.
Required Reservation / Booking Deposit: $500 per person

Important:

  1. “Booking Deposit” is non-refundable unless the group is not formed.
  2. The “Booking Deposit” will be fully refunded if the event/tour is cancelled due to group size not being formed.
  3. When the group size is formed and the tour/event is confirmed, the “Cancellation & Refund” policy is applied.
  4. Cancellation & Refund Policy:
    • 50% of land cost applied 60 days before arrival.
    • 100% of land cost applied 30 days before arrival.

Is it suitable for me?

  1. This is a hiking-focused event. There will be a cut-off time at designated checkpoints. Those unable to reach the checkpoint at a cut-off time will be turned back.
  2. You will need to be physically fit and can hike for at least 6 hours or more.

How to make the reservation and booking?

This is a controlled RSVP event. Before your RSVP is confirmed and your status is updated to “Going” with a deposit placement, it will remain as “WAITLIST”.

Please book your departure flights on 13 Jun to depart after 4 PM. The departure transfer is scheduled to leave the hotel at 12:30 PM.

We strongly recommend a direct flight from Singapore to avoid complications, however, transit flight options can sometimes be cheaper. The choice is yours.

Our designated meet-up time and location is 9:00 AM on 07 June 2025 in Incheon Airport Terminal 1 door 12 of the arrival hall. You may choose whatever flight your preference but you must appear at the designated meeting time and place. We will not be responsible for any delay or cancellation of flight.
